A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education recently visited Woleu-Ntem to begin preparations for the launch of the construction of the University of ™Oyem.Â
The delegation first held working sessions with local authorities, including the governor, the special delegate, the prefect, the land registry and works public. These meetings made it possible to take stock of the progress of the project, the technical and administrative constraints, as well as the expectations of the stakeholders.
“We are here to give substance to the promise that was made recently by the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. About fifteen years ago, the late Omar Bongo laid the first stone of this project, the administration being continuous, the current head of state had to ©decided to finish this project. The idea is to settle down our children to avoid the exodus of populations and relieve congestion in Libreville“, declared the technical advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Aimé Tonda, on Gabon Review.
Remember that this initiative aims to realize the presidential promise to provide quality higher education in the province.
