“The Top 20 Goalscorers in FC Barcelona History”

GOAL takes a look at the top 20 goalscorers in Blaugrana history.

Throughout its history, FC Barcelona has had some of the most accomplished forwards in history. This is also reflected in the Spanish top club’s list of all-time top scorers.

Who is Barca’s top scorer overall and who has held the honor before?

Lionel Messi, one of the greatest players football has ever seen, tops Barcelona FC’s scorer chart.

The Argentine striker joined the Catalans at the age of 13 and has broken every possible club record on his way to the top.

Messi scored an incredible 672 goals in competitive games for the Blaugrana and won 35 titles with the club before leaving for PSG in 2021.

César Rodríguez Álvarez is second in the all-time top scorers list, even if he is miles away from Messi. The Spanish striker has struck 232 goals in 351 appearances and won five Spanish league titles and eight other titles with the Catalans.

Third-placed Luis Suárez joined FC Barcelona in 2014 having previously excelled at Liverpool and Ajax.

A deadly goalscorer, the Uruguayan legend formed one of the most dangerous attacking trios alongside Neymar and Messi. In the 2015/16 season, the trio scored 131 goals and led Barcelona to the treble, breaking all possible goal records in the process.

Suárez joined Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2020 but he will go down in history as one of Barcelona’s most accomplished forwards.

As the third member of the famous “MSN” trio, Brazilian striker Neymar is 18th in FC Barcelona’s top scorer list.

Neymar proved to be a top signing for the club but his departure to PSG for a record €222m left the fans with a bitter taste.
