“The Top 10 Films in Czech Cinemas – New Releases and Foreign Dominance”

Maybe that’s why three new releases made it into the top ten. In addition to the expected hit, an action spectacle full of cars and handsome men, which dominated the charts, there was also a romantic comedy, Falling in Love Again, and a film intended more for lovers of intimate stories, Aftersun.

From the filmmakers’ point of view, Czech cinemas are clearly dominated by filmmakers from abroad, most often American ones. Among the most visited titles, only one is Czech: the comedy Life for the Self-taught, which tells the story of an attractive woman in her forties who suddenly finds herself without a partner.
