The third fastest goal fell on matchday 8 between SC Freiburg and 1. FSV Mainz 05. Goalscorer: Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Frenchman is now hunting for goals for Crystal Palace. In the Bundesliga, the center forward made a lasting impression, not least because of his goal after 62 seconds.
Second place goes to Robert Glatzel, who was not an unimportant building block for Mainz catching up in the second half of the season.
