Experts have named the cars that lose the most of their value 12 months after their purchase by the first owner
The American non-profit organization iSeeCars analyzed the market for used cars from model years 2022 and 2023 and found that for the year the car lost in value, on average, about 3.7 thousand dollars.
But there are a number of models that depreciate much faster.
The most unprofitable car for quick resale in its first year loses 27.8% of its price.
In monetary terms, the owner’s losses during the sale will amount to 12-15 thousand dollars.
The list of 10 cars that in one year can be sold with the biggest loss also includes a representative of the American car industry.
Owners of Toyotas or the scarce new models, however, have a reason to treat.
