Kia will unveil the next-generation Sportage crossover in April next year. Reported by The Korean Car Blog citing sources familiar with the situation. It was previously expected that the car should be shown at the end of 2020. According to unofficial data, this delay is due to the desire of the Koreans to make major changes to the design of the novelty.
Car more than once was seen on test trials. However, in the spy photos, the car is still hidden under camouflage tape. It was also claimed that the fifth generation Sportage will be offered to customers in both regular and long versions. However, there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
The current generation Sportage is currently on sale in Russia. The crossover is offered to customers with a two-liter naturally aspirated engine. The power of the unit is 150 horsepower.
In addition, the car is equipped with a 2.4-liter engine with 184 horsepower. A two-liter diesel with 185 hp is also available. Those wishing to buy a car will have to pay at least 1,349,900 rubles.
