Reese’s signing is particular, because he never played in the NBA. He attended Alabama for 4 years, playing most of the time as a reserve and scoring 5.4 points average. He was not selected in the 2021 NBA Draft and he gave up basketball for a year, working as a bartender instead. Then in 2022 he returned to the field at Amicale Steesel, in Luxembourg, and last year at Rip City Remix, the Blazers’ affiliate in the G-League.
Reese delivered 13.2 points on average in just over 18′ with Rip City in the G-Leaguegetting noticed. This summer he played the Summer League with the Thunder and in recent weeks the preseason with OKC, not particularly standing out: 3 games, 27 minutes in total on the pitch for just 7 points, of which 5 against the New Zealand Breakers.
