The three sisters will celebrate 35 years of existence at their festival in the Giant Mountains

The festival will feature Rybičky 48, Vypsaná fixa, Wohnout, Mňága a Žďorp, Alkehol, Doctor PP, E! E and others. “They are mainly friends and related bands. Simply parties that we sit down with humanly and musically. Celtic Night is a matter of the heart for us also because we spent countless training camps near Jablonec nad Jizerou, dozens of unforgettable parties took place and by the way a number of our songs were created, including Prayers for a Party, “said bandleader, bassist and group manager Tomáš Doležal nickname Ing. Magor.

During the state of emergency, which was valid in the Czech Republic due to coronavirus from mid-March to mid-May, the band Wohnout created a thematic music playlist for all those who were affected in some way by the quarantine measures. It included songs that responded to the pandemic, and the Three Sisters’ repertoire included the Loss of Immunity. Doležal proposes the song Better Times for the current situation. “That’s because the song was and still is about our deep belief that better times will come. Unfortunately, at present, the return of better times is not in our hands, but it remains stuck somewhere between rival clans of ignorant dilettantes, who in an effort to gain political and other points sometimes oppose what we can and can’t do, “said Doležal.

The festival takes place under the Harrachov ski jumps.

Government measures against the spread of the disease will also affect Celtic Nights. In accordance with the regulations, the festival grounds will be divided into two main sectors. “We are very happy that we managed to put everything together, despite meaningless regulations such as four-meter distance corridors, so that the spectators would not be deprived of anything on both stages. And this also applies to the facilities with the Branická pub or other stalls. Only the children’s corner will be in a single sector and we will direct parents with children here, “added Doležal.

On the festival’s website, the organizers specify: “All festivals must comply with the new hygiene rules, which is the main and at the same time the only reason why we and other event organizers with more than 1,000 people have to divide the area into sectors. These sectors, which must be 4 meters apart, are enshrined in government regulations, and if we did not follow this, the festival could not take place. Believe me, it is not pleasant for us either, it causes organizational complications and we have additional costs associated with it. However, we take it as a fact and a necessary tax for the fact that the festival will be at all. There are other changes connected with the sectors, but we are doing our best not to lose Celtic Night this year – and you will not lose it, even at the cost that the festival will probably not be a plus for us financially. “

The group Three Sisters was founded by friends from Braník in Prague in 1985. The star of the originally punk group is the singer Lou Fanánek Hagen, whose real name is František Moravec. After a series of club performances in 1990, the three sisters released their debut album Na Kovárně to je nářez. From the original line-up, the bandleader Ing. Magor and Lou Fanánek Hagen.

The annual concert of the group Three Sisters will take place on September 11 and 12 in the Branice ice houses in Prague. The original May term was canceled by a coronavirus pandemic, due to which the band did not even manage to play most of the concerts from their Vinyl Tour in the spring. He will return to them in the fall.
