On July 6, at the Digital Security Summit Forum held during the 2023 Global Digital Economy Conference and the 2023BCS Beijing Cyber Security Conference, Qi Xiangdong, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and chairman of Qi Anxin Group, said that there are three major problems in data security.
The first problem is that it is difficult to distinguish between true and false data manipulation behaviors. Qi Xiangdong said that in the process of data transfer, there are a lot of complex operational behaviors, and it is difficult to distinguish whether it is a normal business operation or a cyber attack. Hackers will do “bad things” in a legal cloak, simulate normal business, and use the “ant moving” strategy to steal data; the second problem is that the “three people” violations are difficult to control. The risk of insiders is mainly “three people”, that is, administrators, technicians and operators. They often have higher data access rights and are likely to be used by hackers for phishing; the third problem is that software supply chain loopholes and backdoors are difficult to prevent.
Under such circumstances, Qi Xiangdong believes that in the era of digital intelligence, network security “easy to attack but difficult to defend” will become normal. “Network defense is difficult. The difficulty is that you don’t know where hackers will attack, so you must defend comprehensively. Network attack is easy, and the ease of attack is not as good as the rest. What’s more important is that attackers are always in the dark, and they can concentrate superior forces and solve resource problems. The problem of insufficiency.
