The thirteen virtues of fasting in Ramadan – Conakryinfos.com

Let us, my dear brothers and sisters, review some of the virtues of fasting in Ramadan in order to motivate us to welcome this noble month with enthusiasm and fervor.

The reward of ramadhan fasting is incomparable

Indeed, the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Every work of the son of Adam is for him. There Hassana (good deed) is rewarded its tenfold until it is multiplied seven hundred times. Allah, ‘azzawajalla, said, “Except fasting. For, this one is for Me and it is I who will reward it…”

Fasting purifies our soul

It purifies us from bad morals like recklessness, opulence, avarice and accustoms us to good morals like patience, indulgence, generosity as well as the fact of fighting against oneself to strive to achieve whatAllah approved as a work.

Fasting reminds us of our weakness

As well as our necessity and our permanent need of our Lord, and thus shows us our true condition.

Fasting reminds us of the great graces thatAllah granted us

What prompts us to thank Allah and to employ His favors in whatever He pleases.

Fasting reminds us of the need and distress of our brothers

Especially those who are poor and destitute. This encourages us to be in solidarity with them and beneficent towards them.

Fasting teaches us the fear ofAllah : the taqwa

The fear of Allah is a very important work of the heart which prompts the believer to protect himself from the wrath ofAllah and of His punishment; by obeying Him and His Messenger, doing what He has commanded and departing from what He has forbidden

Fasting is a way to preserve chastity and virtue

Indeed the Chaytân moves inside the man where the blood circulates. However, fasting narrows the vessels and reminds Allah and His greatness, which weakens the power of the Chaytân and strengthens that of faith. Thus, believers redouble their ardor in devotion and commit fewer sins.

Fasting purifies the body of poisons

It also makes him gain health and strength. It is a very effective way to cure many diseases.

Fasting intercedes for the fasting person withAllah and protect him from Hell

The invocation of the faster is answered

Fasting people enter Paradise through a door called Ar-Rayyân

Which is reserved for them and which will be closed after they have entered.

Pour Allah, soubhanahthe smell of the breath of the faster is better than the smell of musk

Because it is consistent with fasting. Which shows how much Allah loves this worship so much that what is disagreeable to men becomes approved and loved by Allahbecause it results from His obedience.

The faster will reap two tremendous joys

The first will be the moment when he will eat, happy to have accomplished this prestigious worship and to be able to enjoy all the pleasures that were forbidden to him by fasting. The second will be the moment when he will meet his Lord and find before him, on the Day when he will need it most, the great reward thatAllah promised him, saying, “Except fasting. Because, this one is for Me and it is I who will reward him…”.

thatAllah let us be among the number of fasting men and women who will deserve His great reward and will enter through Ar-Rayyân in Paradise. Amen.

Allah is more Knowledgeable.
