The humorous classical and popular music duo from the royal Vienna “Igudesman & Joo” will give an international touch to the festival this time, but the rest will be ours – drum and bagpipe music group “Auļi”, hip-hop musician Ozols together with Latvian Radio big band, guitarist Mārcis Auziņš and ”Duo of musicians – cellist Valters Pūce and pianist Dainis Tenis.

“We still place the greatest emphasis on the word ‘inter-genre’,” says Valters Pūce, the festival’s organizer. “In today’s world of music, the overlap of genres is becoming more widespread and new, exciting artistic expressions are emerging. The festival “Laivā” is also meant for them, the inter-genre of which is also emphasized in the way it takes place – listeners can choose whether to listen to the concerts on the 360-degree stage in the most usual way on land, or in the most exotic and romantic way – on the lake. And another novelty this year – VIP area with seating! ”

For foreigners.
