Herlevi stayed with his partner in a villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer.

– We have been trying to solve this mystery since morning. It’s so strange: there are no traces, nothing has been destroyed. All the bags are in completely different rooms, and everything has been sifted through, Herlevi said.

– No cards have been stolen. All watches, jewelry and money, easy to steal, they’ve tasted, he continued and blurted out curse words.

The celebrity chef said that he received messages from his followers that burglaries are common in the area. He is shaken by the thought of how close the thief had stood at night.

– The idea that you sleep in it at night and there is someone ten centimeters away rummaging through it, is pretty shitty. Goods are goods and money is money, but other things are more important. This is a sad thing. The filming trip continues, he updated his mood.

A large film crew stayed at the villa, and according to Herlev, the thief went through the entire apartment. They filed a criminal complaint.

According to Akseli Herlev, the police noticed at the villa that the thieves had removed bulbs from the lamps and plugs from the walls so that they could sneak in the dark. The official’s representative also told about the chilling way the thieves operate in the area.

– Here they say that the rooms are gassed with anesthetic gas and it is made sure that the group is sleeping. We have no proof of this, but the police said that it is known that such a method is also used, he says.

– All our wallets and backpacks were open. This was not done quickly.

According to him, there are many people’s second homes and holiday apartments in the area, which remain empty after the summer.

The celebrity chef thanks his luck that the material made by the film crew did not get lost in the hands of thieves. The production team did lose a big slice of the budget when the cash went to waste.
