Types of eczema and treatment

Beyond inflammation, he highlighted the need to “improve the barrier function”, highlighting, in this sense, the value of emollients and soap-free hygiene products (so-called syndet) as essential in the daily life of these patients. .
Regarding allergic contact eczema, she observed the emergence of “a plague” of reactions to the acrylates used for gel nails that many women now wear, although until now the main allergens have been metals and cosmetics, such as fragrances. Her treatment will require elimination of the substance, “although it can be helped with systemic emollients or corticosteroids,” she said.
