Four people were slightly injured Thursday evening during a performance at the municipal theater in Caen after part of the set collapsed on the orchestra pit.
“During a performance, a set on a metal construction wheel three meters high and 1.20 m wide in which four acrobats and a singer were moving, collapsed on thirty musicians positioned below”, a indicated the Codis du Calvados, confirming information from Ouest-France.

In the collapse, four people were injured: a singer, an acrobat and two musicians. One injured person was transported to the Caen University Hospital and another to a clinic.
According to the communication department of the Caen theater, it was the general of the Royal Ballet of the night, with some guests present in the public. “There was a problem in moving the tower and it fell into the orchestra pit. In this accessory tower was positioned the singer.”
Three performances are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to the website of the municipal theater of Caen.
