Almoharín, Aldeanueva de la Vera, Torreorgaz and Malpartida de Plasencia will enjoy ‘Our theater’ CÁCERES, 10 (EUROPA PRESS)
The program ‘Our theater’, with which the Diputación de Cáceres has brought quality representations to different municipalities of the province for a month by the hand of Extremadura theater companies, ends this weekend with the staging of four works by theater, with humor and comedy but also criticism and vindication, which will reach Almoharín, Aldeanueva de la Vera, Torreorgaz and Malpartida de Plasencia.
The scheduled performances are on Friday, the 11th, at the Casa de Cultura de Almoharín where the play ‘Bucónicos comics’ can be seen at 7:30 p.m. The Maltravieso Teatro company, under the direction of Isidro Timón, puts on a show with the Comedia Dell’Arte technique. Four characters, four Italian comedians, will sing, dance and perform introducing scenes from the best theater of the European 17th century and the Spanish Golden Age.
Also this Friday in Aldeanueva de la Vera (House of Culture, 7:00 pm) you will be able to see ‘Ñoña Inés’ by Cíclica Teatro, which puts on a show that breaks all the rules with a Doña Inés without a Don Juan. Incarnated by the actress Nuqui Fernández, she struggles to prove her worth and if for this she has to make the ideal of romanticism, the great seducer, the quarrelsome or the mockery of women fall, as she does it in this funny version of the classic Don Juan Tenorio, scored by José Zorrilla.
Torreorgaz will also enjoy ‘Nuestro Teatro’ this Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the Casa de Cultura, where ‘Las Brujas’ will be staged. It is a fresh, irreverent and bitter comedy at the same time, with characters and some situations from the homonymous work by Luis Chamizo. The company De la Burla Teatro pays tribute to those women who escaped control and social norms and who were persecuted for that reason.
Already on Saturday, the 12th, the cultural program puts its final touch in Malpartida de Plasencia (House of Culture at 8:00 p.m.) with ‘A Russian comedy’, by the hand of Verbo Producciones, who takes this work by Antón on stage Chéjov, in version and direction by Fernando Ramos, with Pedro Montero, Laura Moreira and Francis J. Quiros in interpretation.
A comedy in which an underlying question: “Are we happy or are we obedient?” One of the ironic dilemmas that Chekhov exposes in this version that combines two of his works in a single plot: “The bear” and “The request for a hand”, according to the Cáceres deputation.
