The Thalassery Archbishop suggests that assisting BJP in the elections may be feasible if rubber is valued at Rs 300.

Kannur: Thalassery Archbishop Joseph Pamplani said that increasing the price of rubber would help the BJP in the elections. The Archbishop’s response was at the farmers’ rally organized by the Catholic Congress Thalassery Archdiocese.

Archbishop said that if the central government announces the price of rubber at Rs 300, it will help the BJP in the elections. Joseph Pamplani said that the migrant population will solve the BJP’s problem of not even having an MP in Kerala.

The archbishop said that the migrant population must respond politically if they want to survive. Archbishop Joseph Pamplani added that farmers should realize the truth that in a democracy, any protest that does not turn into a vote is not a protest.
