The TFOC will have to replay Marcq-en-Barœul

Land TFOC will replay his match won a month earlier, against Marcq-en-Barœul, following the decision of the National Volleyball League for a refereeing fault. Les Bleues coach Romain Pitou remains confident in his team’s ability to seek victory.

Mariam Sidibé had given the victory to her team at the end of the suspense, after more than 2h15 of play. On January 28, the TFOC won, 3 sets to 2, on the road to Marcq-en-Barœul. In a meeting with twists and turns, the Blues had worked to get two points. A month later, the announcement fell: the match is to be played again. The northern club complained to the National Volleyball League for a refereeing fault in the fourth set. After several weeks of reflection, the League agreed with Marcq-en-Barœul.

The TFOC will have to make a second trip to Hauts-de-France, and play again in Marcq-en-Barœul on March 14. “This away game will inevitably tire us”, reacts Romain Pitou. This new confrontation between the two formations could allow the Mosellanes to take back a unit from their opponent, or to lose two. “We hope to win again and take the three points”, assures the TFOC coach. Now with 40 points on the clock, Les Bleues find themselves at the 6th position de Ligue AF.
