The textbooks are arriving at the schools, so this school year can start in order, said the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior at a press conference in Budapest on Monday.
Bence Rétvári announced that the delivery of approximately 13 million textbooks to approximately 4,200 schools began at the beginning of August. The schools that requested the tank books for last week have already received them. The textbooks requested for this week will also arrive in order, he said.
The state secretary also pointed out that there were “no extraordinary changes” in the number of teachers, so classes can start at the beginning of September.
