Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a message to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad after he left Doha and attended the 2022 World Cup opening ceremony in Qatar, Sunday evening.

And the Saudi crown prince showed up at the opening of the World Cup wearing a scarf in the colors of the Qatar flag with the words Qatar World Cup 2022, which sparked great interaction on social media, especially after years of diplomatic boycott between the United Kingdom and Qatar , which extended from mid-2017 to reconciliation in early 2021.
The Saudi sports minister had announced that Prince Mohammed bin Salman had ordered all of the kingdom’s ministries, agencies and government agencies to provide any necessary additional support or facilities to their counterparts in the state of Qatar to support his efforts to host the World Cup 2022.
