The price of Texas intermediate oil (WTI) opened this Monday with a drop of 0.86%, to $84.92 a barrel, amid great tension in middle East.
At 9:00 a.m. local time (1:00 p.m. GMT), WTI futures contracts for delivery in May subtracted 74 cents from the close of the previous session.
Brent also falls at this same time by similar percentages.
The fear of a war that rose last Friday above 2% increased on Saturday with Iran’s attacks against Israel, but on Sunday it decreased, although the world is holding its breath until it sees whether or not there will be an Israeli retaliation. EFE (I)
