The Tesla Cyberquad electric quad bike for children is finally available to customers in Europe – it was previously completely sold out in the US and has now managed to reach China as well. This children’s quad bike was introduced last year and is equipped with a 288Wh battery, which means that you can ride for a few kilometers on a single charge.
The manufacturer is also preparing a full-fledged Cyberquad for adults, which will be sold together with the Cybertruck, but this time it is more of an apparatus intended for children. Tesla sold out the first batch of 5,000 units very quickly last year at $1,900 a piece, but they weren’t sold in the US anymore, and the reason for that is quite comical.
It was pulled from circulation by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission after the regulator analyzed a complaint from a 36-year-old woman who suffered minor abrasions on her left shoulder after falling from the Cyberquad. interestingly, the regulator considered this complaint justified because the woman was on the quad bike with an eight-year-old child – the Cyberquad is designed for only one person on it and it is certainly not an adult.
In Europe, the maximum speed of the product is 13 km/h and the manufacturer states that it is intended for children from 8 to 12 years of age. In Europe, this electric children’s quad bike can be purchased for 1990 euros.
