Apep Jasmasi, a youth leader in Karangkamiri village, said that cattle thieves are terrorizing residents again. This time, the thief took action in Bangunsari Hamlet. A total of 11 resident goats disappeared.
“There are 11 of them from three cages whose kandany distances are close to each other,” he said, Sunday (06/03/2022).
The goats belonged to three residents, namely Suherla, Jono and Eman. Incidentally their cattle pens are close to each other. Thief satroni cage at midnight.
According to Apep, a resident saw a vehicle parked not far from the cattle shed. However, residents did not suspect that it was a gang of cattle thieves.
“The car drove to Pamarican City, in the morning a Cikupa resident posted a post finding a lifeless goat lying on the side of the road. Apparently, of the 11 goats stolen, one of them died and the carcass was dumped on the road,” he explained.
Hearing this information, the goat owner went to the location to confirm it. It turned out that the dead goat was his goat.
Meanwhile, the Head of Karangkamiri Village, Agus Salim, said to anticipate the terror of cattle thieves, he appealed to all people to be vigilant.
According to him, road access is good, so it’s easier for thieves to act and run away. For this reason, residents must increase their vigilance by re-activating the Night Ronda.
