For example, the web The Wrap obtained information from sources from the shoot, according to which the weapon that killed Hutchins had been fired just hours before. Nthe astonishing members of the staff allegedly used it to shoot beer cans.
A few hours later, it was handed to Baldwin by assistant director Dave Halls with the words “cold gun.” The American actor thought that the weapon could not injure anyone. Baldwin then calmly practiced drawing a weapon, which he aimed directly at the camera. But the gun fired and wounded two people. Director Joel Souza was behind the cameraman Hutchins at the time, so he could watch the scene from a camera angle. After Baldwin’s shot, Souza could only see Halyna holding his stomach and stumbling back. He then noticed that his shoulder was bleeding. “It sounded like a crack of a whip and then a loud crack,” the director described the situation.
Bad shooting conditions
The shooting of the low-budget film was accompanied by complications even before the tragedy. For example, staff members complained about delays in payments, security conditions and poor organization.
