No career, no personal life.
Nina Ivanova did not think about acting career. As a child, she Ivanova appeared in Viktor Eisymont’s film “Once Upon a Girl”, but after school she entered medical school and worked in the hospital. Everything was changed by a friend from VGIK, who persuaded Nina to star in her graduation film.
The structured girl was spotted by Marlen Khutsiev, who was looking for the main character in his film “Spring on Zarechnaya Street”. After the role of the teacher Tatyana Levchenko, Nina Ivanova woke up famous, but there was no stellar breakthrough. The actress starred in the films “Love Should Be Cherished”, “Confession”, “Shurka Chooses the Sea”, “Easy Life”, “Such a Guy Lives”, “Gray Disease”, and then completely gave up acting.
Ivanova started working from the other side of the frame.
She was a director at the Gorky Film Studio and collaborated with Yeralash in the 90s.
The artist’s personal life did not work out. With her husband, with the cameraman Radomir Vasilevsky, they divorced, and she Ivanova had no children. Nina Ivanova died in 2020 at the age of 86.
