The TerraCeo begins. The postponement of Anni B Sweet’s performance, scheduled for today, will make the German electronic duo Digitalism the group that opens the third edition of TerraCeo, accompanied by Mwëslee from Vigo. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the renowned international artists will have the honor of opening this festival located on the terrace of the Mar de Vigo, one of the musical references of Galicia during the last two years. All in all, Anni will be on August 5. Spectators can have the option to attend that day with the same ticket or request a refund if they wish.
Taburete once again sold out the venues for his performance next Saturday, the 14th, within the festival for the second consecutive year, this being the only one in Galicia on his new “Caminito a Matadero” tour. They will go up after Carla Lourdes.
Other planned performances, as is the case of Hens, who will present the songs from his first solo album, “Hensito”, for which there are less than 100 tickets left for his performance on May 13, preceded by Babykatze from Vigo. The month will close, Russian Ladilla, on the 28th.
The latest confirmed festival concerts include two very different styles in their ranks. On the one hand, there is a Eurovision winner. Thus, the Portuguese Salvador Sobral, the winner of the 2017 edition of the international contest in kyiv, will perform for the first time in the city on August 19. He will do it accompanied on the piano by the Galician Abe Rábade. Both have a musical project in common, where they fuse jazz and folk pieces, with which they will propose an audition full of freedom of interpretation.
In the antipodes in terms of music, the second announcement of the festival is located: The concert of the Spanish-French trapper, La Zowi who will present songs from his next album, scheduled for this year with a live show on July 8.
In June, there are three nights of music (Xisco Feijóo, on the 3rd; A banda da Loba and Fillas de Cassandra, on the 4th; Ángel Stanich and María Soa, on the 18th). In julio it has five dates (Soleá Morente and dani, on the 1st; Berto and the Caamagno family, on the 2nd; La Zowi, on the 8th; Lila Downs and Sés, on the 9th and Ortiga with Grande Amore, on the 30th. And Augustfor the moment it has Sobral and Rábade, on the 19th, it is the second confirmation, after Delafé and the blue flowers, closed for the 27th.
