Los Angeles – The famous actor George Clooney is back behind the camera as director of his new film “The Tender Bar”. Together with Grant Heslov and Ted Hope he produced his new coming-of-age film.
The film is an adaptation of the bestselling book of the same name by Pulitzer Prize winner JR Moehringer. It tells the story of JR, whose uncle Charlie runs a bar where the boy spends a lot of time. In search of a father figure, the men who frequent the bar become his second family.
A crowd of celebrities attended the premiere of the film at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles. The Clooneys shone on the red carpet, the newcomer Daniel Ranieri was whirled through the air and some celebrities showed unusual and extravagant dresses.
