The Teatro de la Paz hosts today, at 8:00 pm, the premiere of Homo Peter, by Llanos Campos, with Jorge Kent and José F. Ramos, directed by Alberto Alfaro and Yanira González.
The play was presented at the Teatro Circo, with the intervention of the provincial delegate for Education, Culture and Sports, Diego Pérez; the managing director of Cultural Albacete, Ricardo Beléndez, as well as the co-directors of Homo Peter, Alberto Alfaro and Yanira González.
Diego Pérez valued Alberto Alfaro’s career in the field of performing arts and highlighted “that the work will be a guaranteed success and, furthermore, one of the characteristics of the work is that it is included in the Production Assistance program that was recovered the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha since 2018, which has allowed more than 67 shows and 40 companies to benefit from this aid, which is absolutely necessary, which allows companies to be competitive and put on a quality show, the objective of those aids that the regional government launched ».
Alberto Alfaro, for his part, thanked the Community Board for its support, “the great benefactor of this show, with very important help, 75 percent of the production, which in my case allows us to hire the best.”
The director was convinced of the success of the production that opens at the Teatro de la Paz, which starts from an idea “that I had a long time ago, reading Kafka’s Report for an academy, because I wanted to talk about freedom, a hackneyed word and we had to talk about it, with the depth that it had in Kafka, but with a show that could be commercial, that any audience can see and Llanos Campos has achieved it ».
