Luis Suarez will leave Atletico Madrid end of the season. The Uruguay striker was moved to tears at the moment of his farewell to the fans.
Suarez has ended his two seasons with Atletico. The 35-year-old striker played his farewell match with the fans when Atletico hosted Sevilla at the Wanda Metropolitano, Monday (16/5/2022) early morning WIB.
In the match that finished 1-1, Suarez dropped into a starter. He played for 65 minutes, before being replaced by Matheus Cunha.
After the match, Atletico Madrid gave a farewell ceremony to Suarez. Ex ajax Amsterdam, Liverpoolday Barcelona it was released with a reception in the middle of the field.
Suarez, who was then accompanied by his wife and three children, could not hide his sadness. He hugged his wife and was seen crying.

Suarez then got a memento. A jersey with a figure given by Koke et al to El Pistolero.
Suarez was recruited by Atletico from Barcelona in the summer of 2020, after being released for free by Barcelona. His move ended Suarez’s glorious career at Barcelona, who scored 198 goals and won four LaLiga titles and one Champions League.
Move to Atletico Madrid, Luis Suarez immediately presented the 2020/2021 LaLiga title, with a score of 21 goals in a season.
