Latvian vice basketball champion “Ventspils” has strengthened his education with match supervisor Edmunds Elksni, inform the club.
In the previous season, 31-year-aged Elksnis represented Tartu’s staff, which received the Estonian Cup and grew to become runner-up of Estonia. In the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League, Elksnis played 27 game titles, where he averaged 7.6 factors, 3.3 helps and 2.1 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Ahead of that, Elksnis represented the “Valmiera Glass” / “Vidzeme Augstskola” team for a few seasons and a 12 months earlier he played in the “Valmiera” / ORDO device of the very same metropolis. Elksnis performed for club Jūrmala for two years, but at the starting of his occupation he invested 4 seasons in the Latvian best flight in the ranks of Valmiera.
Basketball gamers “Ventspils” regarded the superiority of “VEF Rīga” 1-4 in the last collection of the Latvian championship last period. Kurzeme’s crew is a 10-time Latvian champion, possessing received his last title in 2018.
