The teacher with the initials ER who linked former FPI official Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) with the closure Holywings on social media disabled. The decision was taken by the Depok City Education Office (Disdik), West Java, on the grounds that it had caused unrest in the community.
The head of the SD Development Division at the Depok City Disdik, Wawang Buang, said the deactivation was carried out on Monday (6/7/2022). Wawang said the teacher at one of the schools in the Bojongsari area was an honorary person.
“Temporarily disabled while other facts. (Deactivation) since Monday after being called for questioning,” said Wawang when confirmed detik.com.
Wawang said the deactivation was carried out indefinitely. There are several reasons Disdik took that step.
“The reason is quite clear, there are expressions or words that come out that are not appropriate from an educator,” said Wawang.
“Sorry, apart from this the Disdik reason is because this mother’s tweet has caused unrest in the community,” he continued.
Previously, the Depok City Education Office summoned a teacher with the initials ER in Bojongsari. The teacher was asked for information regarding his tweet linking HRS to the closure Holywings on that social media.
“We from the Education Office, following the dynamics that occurred, have summoned the person concerned for questioning regarding his tweet that offended HRS,” said Wawang.
After ER was questioned, Wawang mentioned the reason why ER tweeted about HRS and Holywings because they want to appreciate the government’s performance. Wawang was surprised at the information given by ER.
“Well, this doesn’t make sense, just because I want to appreciate the performance of the central government with Pak Jokowi. Such a period, expresses words that do not know the certainty of people who are considered to be at odds with the government in HRS,” said Wawang.
