After sending a first summons to 44 companies last week, the Task Force for the control, audit and verification of internal and external debts continues its work. This time 57 companies were summoned. Among them we have banking companies, insurance companies, construction companies and even travel companies.

In fact, the companies awarded public contracts must appear before the Task Force between October 11 and 16, 2023. The press release specifies that the latter must bring “ supporting documents for all payments received and relating to the work carried out during the said period “. Before adding that, the companies summoned which will not appear “ will be the subject of summonses to the services of the public prosecutor ».

The Gabon Media Time site reports through an article that these companies are suspected of overbilling, partial execution or non-execution of work after receipt of payments by the various banking entities.
