The Center Party’s Tartu city regional board decided at its meeting held last night that the region supports Mihhail Kõlvart as the party’s chairman candidate and submits his name to the Center Party’s extraordinary congress on September 10.
“Mihhail Kõlvart’s long-term and dedicated work in the Central Party has left a deep mark, for which the board of the Tartu city region highly appreciates him. Kõvart’s leadership style, which combines balance, diplomacy and consistency, has made him a leader who deserves trust and support,” said the chairman of the Tartu City Region Jan Toots. “Mihhail is an important thinker and actor for the Center Party and Estonian society. His leadership knowledge and skills and his deep commitment to the principles of our party have made him an outstanding leader.”
According to Toots, Kõvart’s candidacy for the chairman of the party is a sign of the Tartu region’s trust in him and the belief that the Center Party can achieve important goals under his leadership.
“We trust Mihhail’s leadership skills and are convinced that he will be able to lead our party to a new level, highlighting the strengths of the Center Party and our commitment to serving the Estonian people,” said Toots. “Under Kõlvart’s leadership, we look forward to a new stage of development, which will enable us to promote the vision and values of the Center Party and to strengthen our influence on the political landscape of Estonia.”
