Metropolitan Life Tower (1909- )
This iconic tower is located in Madison Square Park on 5th Avenue between 23rd and 24th Streets. The Metropolitan Life Tower was New York’s tallest building from 1909 to 1913. It stands 213 meters tall, has 50 stories, and is famous for its unique pyramidal silhouette.
Woolworth Building (1913-1930)
Located on Broadway between Park Place and Barclay streets in Manhattan’s Financial District, the Woolworth Building was the tallest building in the world when it was completed in 1913. This neo-Gothic building stood 241 meters tall and had 57 floors.
Bank of Manhattan Trust Building (Trump Building) (1930- )

Residential building located next to Central Park, in Midtown Manhattan. The tower was designed by architectural firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill and developed by Extell Development Company.
It is 472 meters tall and has 131 floors, making it the tallest residential building in the world. It houses 179 luxury apartments, as well as a fitness area, a swimming pool and a cinema.
