Students in Afghanistan will study in different classrooms. girls have the right to education, but separately from boys. This was stated by Abdul Baki Hakani, appointed by the Taliban to serve as the country’s Minister of Higher Education.

The minister stressed that women’s representatives have the right to a “safe educational environment”. He also promised that the universities would reopen soon and that teachers and employees of the Ministry of Higher Education would receive salaries, world media reported.

The department held a conference in Kabul, attended by Afghan university officials, scientists and former ministry officials. Participants called on the Taliban to maintain and modernize the existing education system instead of creating a new one.
