The tale of how Tony Perfume became a resident of a Mila Georgieva-linked house belonging to The Killers.

Does the prosecution have more scandalous evidence that has not been announced yet?

The press conference given on Thursday by the leadership of the prosecutor’s office undoubtedly raised spirits. Dozens of articles, comments and positions flood information sites for the fourth day. And while for the moment everything is focused around the conspiracy of well-known names from the underground – oligarchs, politicians and even journalists, against the Attorney General and senior police officers, further analysis of what was presented raises more and more questions.

Meanwhile, in in an interview on Saturday for BGNES, the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev pointed out that it seems that this is only the beginning and we may yet witness new revelations.

An interesting detail is, for example, where the prosecutor’s office found part of the physical evidence it presented on Thursday. They were seized from a house that was occupied by one of the two defendants in the case – Tony Ivanov, also known as Tony Perfume. In a number of publications from the middle of 2022, his name is associated with the co-chairman of “We continue the change” Asen Vassilev.

At the moment, Ivanov appears to have left the country, and the prosecutor’s office announced that he will soon not be able to reside in a European Union country, as a European Arrest Warrant will be issued against him. It may turn out that Tony Ivanov may soon seek refuge where the main participant in the leaked recordings – Krasimir Kamenov – Kuro – is hiding, in Dubai or South Africa.

Tony Perfume lived in a rented house in the capital’s Boyana district, the ownership of which is not accidental at all. The house belongs to the mother of the well-known Mila Georgieva, who became famous when one of the contract killing groups “The Killers” was exposed. Georgieva is the subject of an investigation in Romania, together with Ivan Tanev – Universal.

For many years, the two were investigated for diverting funds from the socially weak, and it is believed that part of the money – 26 million euros, was laundered through the purchase of properties in our country as well. Mila Georgieva herself was the subject of an investigation by the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office about seven years ago. Her arrest was initially linked to a murder ring, but later the charges against her were dropped and only those of involvement in a drug distribution ring remained. The reason – most of the witnesses give up their initial testimony.

How and why Varna resident Tony Ivanov rents the house of the mother of the little-known Mila Georgieva is not clear. One of the reasons may be related to the common acquaintance of both of them with Krasimir Kamenov.

It turns out, however, that while living on rent in Boyana, Tony Parfuma showed interest in a property at the foot of Vitosha. Sources reveal that Tony Ivanov tried to acquire a property from an elderly man living alone in a prestigious neighborhood above the Ring Road, even pretending to be close to the former rulers. It is possible that Ivanov will be the subject of another investigation in this connection.

Has the prosecution announced all the evidence gathered in the investigation against Tony Ivanov and his accomplice – Dilian Georgiev, who has been in custody for ten days now. This issue has gained extreme relevance since Saturday, when in an interview, accuser #1 Ivan Geshev stated that “the film can become a series.” The words of the chief prosecutor were on the occasion of what was said by acting interior minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, who on Friday hastened to distinguish himself from the revelations of the prosecutor’s office by announcing that “Geshev cannot be a victim” and will not participate in “this film”.

“If I use his style, it really could become a series, not least because the colleagues presented a small part of an hour and a half long recording that they thought was the most interesting. But I’m sure there are much more interesting parts,” Geshev said in an interview on Saturday.

However, on Thursday, at the press conference of the prosecutor’s office, where a conspiracy against senior magistrates and Ministry of Internal Affairs officials was announced between criminals, businessmen, politicians and journalists, it became clear that a large part of the investigation materials were classified. This could mean that the state prosecution is still preparing surprises, especially if the names of politicians or persons in power appear in the materials in question.
