The story begins when a criminal psychologist, Kate Fuller (Olga Kurylenko) is tasked with dealing with the case of a man’s death.
This man was reportedly killed by the same wife, but his wife denied the allegations.
Helena (Rossie Fellner), his wife admits that her husband was strangled by a mysterious creature while he was sleeping.
But neither Kate nor the police believed it.
Helena was later declared mentally ill and had to be treated in a psychiatric hospital.
But another fact was obtained by Kate when she met Shopie (Mackenzie Imsand), Helena’s daughter.
