We sincerely hope that the Bulgarian court will reject the appeal in question as groundless and illegal, and will reaffirm the decision of the Ministerial Council of the Patriarchal Cathedral “St. Alexander Nevsky” to be under the jurisdiction of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. All Orthodox churches were created to be universal, but the lack of a specific owner endangers their preservation, maintenance and restoration. In these difficult times, when both the faith and the unity of the nation are put to the test, it is more important than ever to support one of the main pillars of our spirituality – the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.
