The investment for forty million crowns is exceptional in that the purity of the water is not taken care of by chemistry, but by nature itself. This is especially appreciated by people suffering from eczema or allergy sufferers.
There was no swimming pool in Hlinsko for four decades, people went swimming in a nearby quarry in Srní or used an indoor swimming pool. Now everything is different: small children will certainly enjoy the hundred-meter-long game stream with water toys, adults can stretch their bodies in the classic swimming pool. The island in the middle of the swimming pool is also nice. “Every year we will try to add elements for the enjoyment of visitors,” said the mayor of Hlinsko Miroslav Krčil.
The unique swimming pool with biotope opened yesterday is probably the largest in the Czech Republic. The planned capacity is up to 700 visitors a day. They can already use the beach volleyball court, the swimming pool also includes a parking lot, there are stalls with refreshments.
