The Swedish Public Prosecution Service will investigate a rape case in Stockholm in which French soccer player Kylian Mbappé may be involved, according to Swedish media. Justice does not want to mention names. Police also did not reveal the suspect’s identity.

The French star visited Stockholm for two days last week. According to Aftonbladet newspaper, the French striker, who was not selected for the Nations League match of the French national team due to injury, went out for dinner with a group and to a nightclub in Stockholm.

The Swedish Public Prosecution Service said the incident took place on October 10 in a hotel. The victim was reportedly seeking medical attention.

Mbappé himself responded to the reports and spoke on X about “fake news”.
