Behind the Arctic Circle is the largest iron ore mine in the world. As a result of mining, subsoil changes are taking place that began to threaten the Swedish city of Kiruna a few years ago. Indigenous people, migration and migration of the city create a mix of social issues, which in the documentary “Kiruna – a beautiful new world” tried to capture the director Greta Stocklassa. For the Czech premiere of the film, which takes place on September 11, the creators chose a city with a similar fate, Most, North Bohemia.
