On Twitter this Thursday, January 20, the municipal councilor RN Philippe Vardon calls on Internet users to “find the garbage” responsible for an alleged road accident in the center of Nice.
“The object of the scandal” is a video, also posted on social networks. Consulted 140,000 times, we see two individuals in a car reversing at low speed, and laughing, a woman riding a scooter at night in the Vauban district.
The two men, difficult to identify, seem to inhale a gas, driver and passenger included.
A Twitter account, @soukaina066, relays with these images this call for witnesses on January 19: “Alert. My little sister was the victim of a serious accident around 8:30 p.m. in Nice Vauban. she is currently between life and death. Please share as much as possible to find the culprit!” 6,000 people relayed this message.
Contacted by “Nice-Presse”, the Public Prosecutor’s Office confirms that an investigation has indeed been entrusted to the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP).
However, there is a good chance that it is “a fake”.
The fire brigade and the police were not called to the scene of this alleged accident.
