A 40-year-old woman who was pregnant on Thursday of last week Nora was found dead in his home in Sweden, says the Swedish media Corren. A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Nora’s murder.
Nora’s calculated time would have been next September. On Tuesday, March 19, Nora had an ultrasound examination. He sent pictures to his mother.
According to Nora’s mother, everything seemed to be fine, and in a couple of weeks it was planned to find out whether the child would be a girl or a boy.
Nora’s mother Gina was going to visit his daughter in Linköping last Thursday. They had planned to go eat at a restaurant. Gina had bought new clothes that would have more room for her daughter’s growing belly.
When she called to make an appointment with her daughter, Nora’s phone was turned off. He also did not respond to his mother’s messages, Corren writes.
– It was a mother’s instinct. I felt that something was wrong, Gina tells the magazine.
Gina contacted Nora’s friends. One of them went to Nora’s apartment. A friend had shouted through the door that her mother was going to call the police if she didn’t answer soon.
That same evening, Nora’s landlord opened the door, and entered the apartment with Nora’s friend. They found Nora, who no longer had a pulse.
Nora’s body showed signs of external violence.
By Friday evening, the Swedish police had arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The man denies his guilt.
According to the prosecutor, the suspect and the victim were not “complete strangers” to each other. So far, according to Expressen’s information, the prosecutor has not commented further on the case.

Swedish Saga was only 20 years old and pregnant when she was strangled to death in an apartment in Örebro a year ago.
Saga’s 21-year-old boyfriend was charged on Wednesday, March 27. The prosecutor believes that the man murdered Saga as an attempt to restore his honor. The man has previously been convicted of, among other things, attempted robbery.
The murdered Saga’s baby could not be saved.
The spouse at the time is suspected of strangling Saga to death. Saga, who was expecting their son together, was seven months pregnant.
According to Aftonbladet, it has emerged in the court hearings that just hours before the murder, the 21-year-old man had told Saga that he would finally tell his family about the relationship with Saga that same evening.
The man had promised to tell his parents that they are expecting a child together and plan to move in together.
According to the lawsuit, the man’s parents are very religious and would not have accepted a “wrong” spouse for their son. The 21-year-old knew this.
Saga had been on sick leave just days before the murder. She had wanted to support her boyfriend when he broke the news to his family.
Instead, according to suspicions, the man came to Saga’s home and killed her.
The murder has caused strong reactions in Sweden. A large demonstration against men’s violence against women was held in Örebro.
The main trial against the man will begin on April 10 and is expected to last 15 days.
Last message
According to the prosecutor, nothing in the investigations has indicated that the spouse had told her family about Saga and the pregnancy as a murder.
Saga tried to cheer up her spouse with text messages that same evening. In the end, the man stopped responding to Saga’s messages.
“Darling, talk to me”, was Saga’s last message sent.
Saga’s mother told the magazine that her daughter was happy about future motherhood, which never happened.
– He was so happy. She was moving into a new apartment and couldn’t wait to start her life as a mother. This is the worst thing you can imagine, Saga’s mother commented.
Aftonbladet reported on Saga’s case.
