When you lose weight you not only feel better physically, your brain will also perform better. Jop de Vrieze in conversation with Professor of Anatomy Amanda Kiliaan, who studied 156 obese people who underwent gastric reduction. They lost an average of 30 kilos in 6 months, and blood pressure, cholesterol and medication use fell. What really stood out: They got a sharper brain.
Also in this episode: the effect of free money on the lives of poor people, NASA takes UFOs seriously and an ancient medicine for osteoarthritis.
