In the past there has been some overlap between professional football and German rap. The artists’ songs have already been heard several times by international sports stars. Last May, OZ was a representative of White clouds at the Real Madrid party. The team celebrated reaching the final of the Champions League, which they eventually won.

Kylian Mbappé and Neymar have even sent video messages to rappers, in particular Good capital. Benzema is also a fan of German rap music. This was organized mainly by the German team colleagues of the athletes.

A few months ago, two German rappers also met Neymar. Within minutes are both Loredana, as well as Katja Krasavice posted photos and videos with Neymar Jr. Soccer star Leon Goretzka has also recently proven that he can definitely be described as a fan of German rap. At least he was hanging out with Cro and posting music publicly from Raf Camora and recently linked up with the German rap legend Kool Savas.

Even DFB’s final song for the World Cup came from a German rapper. Pajel delivered “So wie wir”, the DFB’s unfortunately chosen anthem for the tournament in Qatar. Star players Thomas Müller and Serge Gnarby were featured in the song’s music video.
