E.Y. who went to Beyoğlu for fun on January 21, 2017. and F.H.E., were battered by a person named Rıdvan approaching them on Balo street. The aggressor who took F.H.E., who fainted as a result of the beating, took her to the house where the young woman Dursun Aydemir and Engin Kayıran were. The unfortunate woman was raped by Kayıran and Aydemir here.

The file of Aydemir and Kayıran fell to Istanbul 5th High Criminal Court. At the hearing held on 2 October 2018, the court sentenced Engin Kayıran to 24 years in prison for “qualified sexual assault” and “threatening liberty” and Dursun Aydemir for 20 years for “qualified sexual assault”.
YARGITAY READS THE DECISION AFTER THE REFINERY COURT
The parties carried the file to the Court of Appeal. The 20th Criminal Division of the Istanbul Regional Court of Justice, where the case was heard, denied the applications of the appeal of the parties, citing that the decision of the Istanbul 5th High Criminal Court was in line with the procedure and the law.
The file was sent to the Supreme Court this time upon the application of the parties. On December 3, 2019, the 14th Criminal Division of the Supreme Court of Appeals rejected the appeals of the parties and upheld the decision. (DHA)
