As is known, at a national level there has been a serial dispute regarding the following issue. Numerous teachers take legal action representing that, during the period employed by the Ministry of Education and Merit on a fixed-term basis, the salary received would be (or would have been) unfairly discriminatory due to violation of clause no. 4 of the Framework Agreement annexed to Directive no. 1999/70/EC of 28 June 1999, because it is discriminatory compared to the economic treatment due to permanent teachers of the same qualification and length of service.
