The Supreme Court rejected, as the National Court had already done in 2018, the appeal of Mediaset España Comunicación against the sanction of the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC) for secret advertising in the program Sálvame de Telecinco.
The final decision confirms the fine of 324,000 euros for the commission of five infractions to the general audiovisual communication law (LGCA), after having broadcast on its Telecinco channel, covert commercial communications of the products Actafarma, Revidox, Obextrem and Dormax, in the Health field. Sections “I love taking care of myself”, of the program “Sálvame Diario”, of October 30, November 6, 13 and 27 and December 4, 2014.
