Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks have several great titles planned for PC and Xbox Series X/S for early 2023, but we don’t know when they will be released. The rumors surfaced late last year Microsoft will host a digital event in the first quarter of the year where to provide information about those games, predictably offering specific release dates. The same source as that rumor now says so it’s not an Xbox Games Showcase like what the company does as part of E3, but something smaller, like a Nintendo Direct.
Jennifer Young, Contributing Journalist of Central windowswas surprised on Twitter at dawn this Friday that nothing was officially known yet about an Xbox Showcase. Jesus Cordenreporter for the same outlet and a regular leaker of Xbox-related information, replies: “You shouldn’t have to wait long, but maybe shop window it’s a strong word. A direct, maybe? I’m not clear on the scale yet, but don’t expect something like a big presentation at E3.”

Corden adds in another message that “some out there seem to be waiting a lot” on that Xbox launch event. In a opinion article which he published at the end of 2022 calling Xbox Game Studios’ year “disappointing”, started the rumors about the event in question. The reporter claimed to have heard “tentative” and “unverifiable” entries. of an event for the first quarter of 2023 which will be similar to X0 that those of Redmond did until 2019; in X019 announced the draft titles of Always wild.

Without the need to go to titles that we do not know when they will be released (Declared, Fable, Perfect dark, Hellblade 2 and many others), Microsoft has several titles planned for this year: Go Motorsport in spring, Redfall yes Starfield in the first half of the year (presumably Arkane in May) and adaptations of The age of empires for consoles.
