TIME.CO, Jakarta – Support for the party coalition Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate so far there is no sign that he will be declared anytime soon. Previous party NasDem proposals to the other two parties, namely PKS and the Democratic Party, for a statement on November 10, 2022. Subsequently, both PKS and Democrats did not agree on that date.
The coalition’s statement in support of Anies for the 2024 presidential election has yet to be launched because, the spokesman said, PKS Muhammad Kholid, there are four things still being discussed by the small teams of the three parties.
The four things are the platform for the struggle for the future government design, the winning strategy and the presidential and vice presidential candidates.

“We believe a coalition needs to be formed with a comprehensive concept, not just of support and promotion, but with a common vision,” Kholid said when he was contacted on Friday, November 4, 2022.
He said the moment of the declaration would follow if the four things were agreed. According to Kholid, if the small team of the three parties did not reach an agreement, the foundations of the coalition could be shaken at any moment.
“We believe that if the agreement is not finalized, the foundations of the coalition will subsequently be less solid. So the foundations of the coalition must be strengthened before the declaration,” he said.
According to Kholid, if the four tasks can be completed, the coalition axis will be more solid. Meanwhile, if after the statement there are things that need to be reworked, then they are just complementary or perfect.
“We think it is better that the great corridor of understanding is completed before the declaration. This will solidify the axis of the coalition. Although after the declaration there must be further maturation, it is complementary and perfect, the main points are completed first. “, he has declared.
Previously, the NasDem party had proposed that a coalition declaration be held on November 10, 2022. This date coincides with the commemoration of Heroes’ Day and exactly one day before the NasDem Party’s birthday, November 11.
However, this coalition’s declaration is in danger of being withdrawn. Vice President of the NasDem party, Ahmad Ali, said the Democratic Party and the PKS were not ready.
“I guess it’s not ready (Nov 10). Democrats and PKS aren’t ready yet,” Ali said Time, Tuesday 2 November 2022.
However, Ali stressed that the postponement of the date of the statement was not a sign of a rift within the coalition. According to him, this is only the internal dynamics of each part.
“It is not a sign of a split. It is not a sign that there are obstacles, but only the dynamics of each internal party,” he said.
