The Superior Health Council does not yet give the green light to the booster for minors

The Superior Health Council (CSS) has decided to wait for the recommendation of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and more scientific evidence before formulating an opinion, according to this same opinion. It recommends to the Belgian authorities that they “urge insistently in favor of the harmonization of the rules relating to STCs and the obligation to be vaccinated against COVID-19 at European Union and global level”.

Pending this hypothetical standardization of rules, the CSS proposes that the federal and European drug agencies and the Belgian Vaccination Task Force take their responsibilities (in terms of safety) in order to make booster doses available (or not). And this for all people (children, teenagers, adults) who have to travel or wish to do so in Europe and around the world, whether for family, leisure or professional reasons.
